About Ope
Hi! I'm a medical student with over two years of experience tutoring Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals, whether they're aiming to catch up, consolidate their understanding or reach the highest grades.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, watching films and continuously learning new things. I particularly love teaching because I believe every student deserves someone who will meet them where they are, understand how they learn best and support them in reaching their full potential. No two students are the same, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual, creating a positive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Watching my students grow in confidence and succeed is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. I never assume prior knowledge, so I first identify a student's strengths and any gaps in understanding before building their confidence step by step. I use a range of engaging teaching methods, including visual explanations, interactive games, videos, exam-style questions and practical activities to suit different learning styles. I believe in challenging my students to reach their full potential while providing the support and encouragement they need to succeed. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop confidence, independence and a genuine understanding of the subject.
