About Aaryan
Hi! I’m Aaryan, a dedicated and passionate tutor with over three years of experience teaching high school and university students in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, and other science-based courses. I’ve always loved helping others understand difficult concepts, and tutoring has become one of the most rewarding parts of my academic journey. I’m currently a second-year medical student at Bond University, and before that, I studied Biomedical Science. My strong science background allows me to break down complex topics into clear, simple explanations, while my experience as a high school and university tutor has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to each student’s unique learning needs.

My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and focused on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. Because I’ve tutored for over three years—in both high school subjects like Chemistry and Biology and at the university level—I’ve learned that every student learns differently. I usually begin by assessing where the student is currently at, identifying their gaps, and then tailoring my explanations to their learning style. I break down concepts into simple, manageable steps and use clear real-world examples (something I naturally picked up from years of explaining content to younger students and peers in medical school). I also emphasize active learning: asking students to explain ideas back to me, working through questions together, and teaching exam strategies that I’ve developed myself as a medical student and previously as a biomedical science student. Many of my students find that this builds confidence quickly, because we’re not just covering content—we’re practicing how to think through problems. My standard lessons run for 60 minutes, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for students who want extra question time or deeper IB/ATAR support. Qualifications and Experience • Over 3 years of tutoring experience • Tutored high school chemistry and biology, and also university-level science subjects • Worked as a high school tutor and university tutor • Currently a medical student at Bond University (going into 3rd year) • Background in biomedical science (2023–2024) • Strong academic and communication skills developed through leadership roles (Year Representative, committees, societies) and through my work as a pharmacy assistant for 2 years - Dean's award, Vice Chancellors Award, Excellence Scholarship My combined academic background and teaching experience mean I can explain difficult concepts clearly and help students develop effective study habits and exam techniques.
