About Harini
My name's Harini - I'm originally from Cardiff and currently I'm a 3rd year medical student at UCL. I have 10A*s and a distinction in additional maths at GCSE, and 3A*s at A Level (maths, chemistry and biology). I've played the piano and cello for over 12 years and really enjoy swimming! My main focus when it comes to teaching is maths GCSE.

In my experience, understanding the theory behind maths problems is so helpful when it comes to answering them; whilst practising questions frequently is also incredibly important, I find that first having a deeper understanding of why exactly certain techniques are used makes it so much easier to get the hang of tricky subjects! This is something that really benefitted me when I was doing maths GCSE and I hope that I can help students gain a more comprehensive understanding of maths as a whole.
My lessons would ideally be approximately an hour but I'm flexible depending on how much is covered in the session.
