About Laura
Hello! I'm Laura, a medical student and dedicated anatomy scholar with a passion for teaching complex biological sciences. Holding a bachelor's degree in microbiology and currently serving as a Teaching Assistant in gross anatomy labs and lectures, I understand firsthand how challenging these subjects can be, and how to navigate them successfully.
My goal as a tutor is to build your confidence, demystify tough concepts, and equip you with efficient, evidence-based study techniques. My teaching method focuses on active recall, visual breakdowns, and clinical context (when applicable) to allow deep understanding.
A typical lesson begins with briefly summarizing your goals for the session, followed by high yield concept walkthroughs, practice questions, and a recap with personalized study strategies.
What sets me apart is my experience as a medical student for three years, having already passed my first medical board exam. This year I am working as an anatomy scholar, guiding first-year medical students through rigorous laboratory and lecture content. I know where learners can get stuck and how to explain complex science clearly.
