About Mia
Hi! I'm Mia Sarma, your friendly neighborhood tutor! I'm a recent university graduate with an excellent academic track record, considerable tutoring experience under my belt, and an unquenchable thirst for learning. I love inspiring students to love what they learn and push themselves to do their best.
I've graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours), so I'm comfortable teaching Biology, Chemistry and Science to primary and secondary level students. I also offer English tutoring for all levels, and offer editing/proofreading services for assignments.
I'm flexible with meeting places, and I'm happy to tutor at my location (Rowville) or yours (within the Eastern suburbs). Alternatively, I'm also happy to tutor you at a public library.
My availability is 8 AM to 7PM during the week, and 9AM to 5PM on weekends and public holidays. I also offer pre-exam support for those nights before finals!

My approach to tutoring is that every student knows what they need best, and I work collaboratively with my students to ensure they receive targeted study and practice on problem areas they may have. I also create and follow lesson plans to give structure to each session, so that you're getting maximum value for what you pay! In addition, I offer revision worksheets and answer keys as optional homework between sessions to ensure that you're not stagnating between lessons.
