About Ellie
Studying the human body through the lens of a Columbia MD candidate allows me to explore the intricate connections between the nervous system, immunology, and human anatomy. I break down complex biological concepts into clear and approachable ideas.
I also help students visualize processes such as photosynthesis and cellular respiration while building a strong understanding of plant biology and homeostasis. With experience teaching over 90 students, I focus on making challenging topics easier to understand and apply.
Lab report writing is another important part of my teaching approach. I enjoy watching students move from uncertainty to confidence as they develop a deeper understanding of biology and learn to explain scientific concepts clearly.
