About Mary
Hello! My name is Mary, I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh. During my time there, I spent a year at the University of Cambridge in England, studying medicine as one of the only Americans there. After graduating, I started as a first-year student at Harvard Medical School in the fall of 2021.
I have tutored, been a teaching assistant, and been a teacher throughout high school, undergraduate, and graduate school. I have realized that everyone learns differently, and aim to cater to different learning styles. I aim to see things the way the student sees them, and to work together to elucidate the best outcomes.

From my experiences applying to graduate and undergraduate programs, I have much experience with both testing and the application process to be accepted into competitive institutions. I also understand the difficulty of the process, and the importance of feeling supported by throughout it all. I recall wishing I had someone to lean on during the application season. I look forward to helping students in all aspects of the application process to undergraduate and graduate schools. Having edited nearly a hundred personal statements and application content, I always aim to tailor personal statements and CVs to the students' strengths, and help their applications become truly competitive.
After studying for months, I earned a perfect score in all sections of my ACT. I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT.
