About Nishat
Hello! I’m Nishat, a Biomedical Science graduate with an MSc in Medical Microbiology and practical experience working in NHS diagnostic laboratories.
I have a strong passion for biology and enjoy helping students understand difficult scientific topics in a simple, clear and enjoyable way. My background has given me experience across microbiology, molecular biology, serology and laboratory science, allowing me to bring real-world examples into my lessons.
I understand that every student learns differently. Some students need help building their confidence and understanding the basics, while others want focused exam preparation or support with more challenging topics. I tailor my lessons around the individual student and their goals.
My aim is not simply to help students memorise information. I want them to understand the science behind what they are learning, develop confidence in answering questions and feel more comfortable with biology.

I keep my lessons simple, practical and focused on what you need most. We can work through difficult topics together, practise exam questions, improve exam technique or build your confidence in Biology and Microbiology.
I adapt each lesson to your learning style and current level, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. My aim is to make complicated topics easier to understand and help you feel confident applying your knowledge in exams.
