About Gurleen

Fourth Year Medical Student at the University of Leeds and experience interview tutor with successful applicants.

Hi! I am a fourth year medical student at the university of Leeds so have very recently gone through the application process and I know how tough it is! I have done the UCAT, BMAT and got 4 interviews so I have the experience and can help you will the dos and don'ts. I know how stressful the application process is and I'm looking to help as many people as I can to get into medical school! :)

About the lesson

Depending on what you're looking for, we can arrange different lesson types, we can look at the UCAT, personal statements or interviews. For interviews, based on a message from yourself, I will find questions that you are struggling with. We will have a brief chat at the beginning, then I will ask the questions and provide feedback at the end. Alternatively, I can through how to answer each question and we can build your responses. For the UCAT, we will look at each section and some of their questions; I can either tell you about each section individually or you can let me know which you are struggling with. During the lesson, we will go through practice questions and different techniques. For the personal statement, multiple lessons may not be necessary. If you would like one, we could talk through what to and not to include, how to structure it or I could give it a read.
I have had 4 interviews from different universities so have a wide range of experience and advice that I can offer :)
