I am a media, arts and photography student from Inverness Scotland.
I have enjoyed photography as a hobby since a young age, and have been an active wildlife, nature and landscape photographer for 7 years.
I have experience in wedding/event photography, as well as portraits and model-shoots.

Hi, I became interested in photography at a young age and now want others to know the joy that photography as a hobby, or career, can bring.
I aim to help any absolute beginner, to intermediate photography-enthusiast to hone their skill and eye when it comes to making beautiful photos.
When classes start, the basics of camera handling will be taught first (understanding the difference between manual and automatic mode, changing ISO, shutter speed and aperture, etc)
We will then move on to basic composition (the rule of thirds, how to place a subject in frame, and how to compose landscape shots, etc)
After this we will talk about exposure, this will link back with the basic camera handling as you will need a good grasp on how to operate your camera in order to correctly expose your shot.
The exposure segment will include teaching you how to appropriately set your ISO, shutter speed and aperture for the situation in which you are shooting.
These are just the basics and as a result, any further information will be taught as needed/requested.
I prefer to teach in-person and out in the field as I believe it offers the best experience to any budding photographer though I understand this may not be possible and am more than happy to use virtual methods to increase your knowledge and practice of photography.
I aim to make each lesson as fun and enjoyable as possible because I believe that the best photographs are created when you love creating photographs.
