About George
I got onto the Quantum Mechanics Primer Summer Camp at Cambridge University. I completed 910 multi-part Physics and Maths questions at an A-Level, Further A-level and University level difficulty (seventh highest in the UK) on the popular website Isaac Physics. Since then, I have not stopped: I hold the largest weekly streak (97 at the time of writing) and the second highest completed question part count (6,716) on the website.
I am a 4-time gold medallist in various Physics and Maths Olympiads and Challenges.
167/180 in GCSE Physics, 277/300 GCSE Maths.
I had the highest average Physics exam score (91.6%) in my cohort at a private school in central London.
I completed the Comprehensive Oxford Maths and Physics Online School with an average of 80%.
I got an A* in my EPQ on hydrogen fuel cell technologies.
I have experience with tutoring small children Maths.

I strongly believe that something cannot be truly understood if it is not intuitive/as though "this is what it should be". I isolate concepts, explain each one in a simple way, then build complexity to show the full picture. Lesson plan: go through the mistakes in last lesson's homework, then look at any desired topics for the time remaining. However, the aim is really to cater to the student's needs, so this can be changed. I can tutor children Maths, Further Maths or Physics at any level from 10/11+ to A-Level/potentially IB. Lessons are always one-to-one. They are usually in 1-hour blocks on Google Meet but I am again flexible and willing to spend more time if the student is late or if a concept needs particular attention.

George finds ways to make even dry topics like circular motion or binomial expansions feel interesting. You can tell he loves the subject!
My son had been struggling with A-Level physics, but it didn't take long for George to bring up his confidence. He now looks forward to problem-solving, a miracle! George is punctual, polite, and always prepared. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a serious grade boost.
