I hope you're getting all ready for exam season.
I wanted to say thank you for all your patience during our tutoring sessions. I was reviewing for my comp exam and realized I learned a lot from you! I can understand it much easier and am finding that I am able to code past assignments I couldn't before (albeit slowly, it's still an improvement). I will probably keep coding on my own for fun as I am starting to enjoy it more!

I have always been passionate about mathematics.
Math is one of the reasons why I decided to go McGill to study mechanical engineering, as it is the field of engineering with the strongest background in Math.
And the reason why I love math is because I think Math can be the most fun and useful skill somebody can develop.
The main focus of my tutoring sessions has always been to share knowledge, as well as my passion for the subject, that has proved to be very contagious in my experience :) .
I think we all do have an innate ability to comprehend math, the only thing we need to develop this ability is finding a way to do so in a fun way !
The Math lessons I will be offering will cover all the basics of math, from middle school notions to as far as the student would like to explore !
My teaching methodology usually starts with a problem statement that would originate from the interest/needs of the student, slowly building foundational knowledge to tackle the problem, before getting to a systematic approach (or trick) to recognize, and comprehend similar scenarios in the futur.
