About Aramis
I am an experienced mathematics tutor who is passionate about helping students build both confidence and understanding. I genuinely enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, clear steps, making math more accessible and less intimidating for students of all levels.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to develop a deeper understanding of how and why concepts work. I aim to spark curiosity by showing students the broader and more interesting side of mathematics, including how it connects to real-world situations and future learning.
I have a proven ability to support students in improving their results, while also helping them feel more confident and capable in their studies. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material.

I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to suit the student’s individual learning style, age, and needs. I pay close attention to how each student behaves in a learning environment, whether they need more guidance, independence, or encouragement, and adjust my teaching style accordingly to help them stay focused and comfortable.
My teaching methodology focuses on building a deep understanding of concepts rather than just memorising steps. I encourage students to question and challenge the material so they can understand the reasoning behind it and how different ideas connect. I also prompt them to think about how concepts apply to future areas of maths and real-world situations, helping to develop curiosity and critical thinking.
A typical lesson runs for around 60 minutes, however this can be adjusted depending on the student’s attention span and learning needs. I aim to keep lessons as engaging as possible by mixing explanation, discussion, and practice, so students stay involved and motivated throughout.
