About COLIN
-Graduate from Binghamton University in Mechanical Engineering (GPA 3.7) where I took part in numerous extracurriculars in music, automotive engineering and Senior Capstone Projects.
-Advanced Regents diploma from North Shore High School (GPA 4.07) where I took both IB and AP level courses, ACT and SAT exams and participated in band, choir, robotics, wrestling and, of course, tutoring.
-Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (first try!) in September 2024.

Hi, I'm Colin. I'm a well rounded tutor of all things on the high school level, specializing in stem fields. Upper level topics include calculus, physics, electronics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and more!
I take a top down approach to tutoring meaning that I take your goals and develop a learning plan that covers everything from reinforcing/teaching the basics to upper level problems. My philosophy is to always overprepare! Exams such as the NYS Regents (physics, math,etc), AP & IB Exams, SAT/ACT math section and stem subject tests are my specialty. I also can help in other topics like English, Music and Social Studies!

I charge an additional rate of 10/hr for any travel time greater than 15 minutes from the Danbury area! (Not applicable for the first session)
My rates are flexible! They determine on topic, level and student needs. Each one hour session is (on average) paired with 1.5-2 hours of session preparation and material creation!
