About Sophia
Hi! My name is Sophia, and I am a Materials Science Engineering and Management student at McMaster University. I mainly have experience tutoring Math and Science students. I enjoy helping students improve and build their confidence through supportive guidance and effective learning strategies.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, watching movies and anime, and being involved in my university community as an Engineering Welcome Week Representative! I value creating a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow their skills.

My approach as a tutor focuses on creating a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and seeking help. I take the time to understand each student's learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement so that lessons can be personalized to their needs.
