About Andrew
Hey there! Thanks for checking out my profile.
I'm currently a second year chemical engineering student at McGill, with over 2 years of experience in math tutoring. I have been a TA at McGill since Fall 2022, giving tutorials to students taking MATH 263 - Differential Equations.
However, chemistry and chemical engineering is a bit closer to my heart, so I'd like to apply what I've learned from my math tutoring experience to teach chemistry and/or chemical engineering concepts.
I hope to have you onboard and enjoy our sessions together. If you know more after the session than before coming in, I've done my job. c:

I'm a big fan of breaking down complex concepts into easy to remember bitesize chunks. Lessons start from where the students know, bridging the gap between their level of understanding to mastery of the course content.
Each concept is linked to previous concepts mastered earlier in the course, constantly emphasising the links and interactions between them to provide a solid understanding for further study.
Quizzes will be given periodically to give both the student and their parents an indication of how they are performing as well as boosting their ability to retrieve knowledge from different parts of the course.
I have some experience with the IB curriculum as well as McGill's Chemical Engineering program, and I'm more than happy to give you the support that you or your child needs.
