About Owais
Hi, I’m Owais! I’m currently an MBBS student who scored over 90% in the MDCAT exams. I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body functions—from large organ systems to the intricate details at the cellular level. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong passion for the biological sciences, and having successfully gone through the competitive medical admissions process myself, I understand the level of dedication required to excel and prepare for demanding exams like the HPAT.
Beyond academics, I have a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. I recognise that pursuing medicine or tackling university-level biology can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why I focus on breaking complex topics into simple, manageable concepts. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and building their understanding. I consider myself patient, approachable, and encouraging. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and is carefully structured to include a quick review of previous material, an engaging introduction to new concepts, and guided practice using exam-style questions. With extensive experience teaching challenging life science curricula and a strong focus on pre-med preparation, I understand what students need to perform well under pressure. My classes are ideal for motivated high school students striving for top grades, university students tackling advanced biology topics, and dedicated pre-med candidates preparing for the HPAT.
