Hanan and I have been best friends since medical school, and I can confidently say that she is someone you can always rely on. I’ve known Hanan Hashim since medical school, where we were not only classmates but also close friends and roommates. We studied together quite often, so I’ve had the chance to see firsthand how dedicated and hardworking she is.

Hanan was the topper of our batch in first year, scoring an impressive 80%, and she continued to be one of the most studious and consistent students throughout medical school. She has always had a very clear understanding of concepts and, more importantly, a wonderful ability to explain them in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Her notes were some of the best in our batch—clear, detailed and extremely well organised—and they were often shared with and relied upon by many of us.

What I admire most about Hanan, though, is how genuinely helpful and kind she is. She has always been the person everyone could turn to when they needed help. Whether it was understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, or even something completely unrelated to academics, she would never hesitate to help. She is extremely patient and approachable, and she never makes anyone feel embarrassed for not understanding something.

Having studied and lived with her, I can honestly say that Hanan would make a wonderful Biology tutor. She has the knowledge, patience and communication skills to teach well, but also the kind of warmth and willingness to help that makes students feel comfortable learning with her. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive Biology tutor.
