About Dr Amey
I'm Dr. Amey Kirtikar, an MBBS graduate from Grant Government Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai — one of India's most prestigious medical institutions. I completed my degree with distinctions in 9 subjects, ranking consistently in the top 5 of my batch.
I'm also an active researcher with three published papers in peer-reviewed international journals, and I'll be joining Imperial College London for my MSc in September 2026. Science isn't just my profession — it's something I stay genuinely engaged with every day.
As a teacher, my focus is always on building real understanding rather than rote learning. If a concept feels confusing, the problem is usually in how it's been explained — and fixing that is what I do best.

My classes are designed for medical students (MBBS, BDS, BAMS) and science students (Class 11–12, NEET aspirants) who want to truly understand the subject rather than just memorize it for exams.
I scored distinctions in 9 subjects across my MBBS at Grant Government Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai — including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Surgery, and Medicine — and I know exactly where students struggle and why.
My approach:
I teach concepts first, not facts. Before we touch any diagram or drug name, I make sure you understand the why behind it — because that's what stays with you in a viva, a clinical exam, or an MCQ that tries to trick you. I use clinical correlations heavily, especially in pre-clinical subjects, so that Physiology and Pathology feel real rather than abstract.
How a typical class runs:
We start by identifying exactly where you're stuck. Then I build the concept from the ground up — using diagrams, mnemonics, and real clinical examples — and end with exam-focused application so you know how the topic gets tested.
