About Ruxandra
I always studied in french and had excellent grades. I am en enthusiastic but patient person.
I will make you feel confortable, answer all your questions and not judge your prononciation, since we are in a safe space of learning. I myself needed to learn French when I was about 11 years old and it was not easy, but the key is to practice practice practice.
I always try to give some small homework and encourage students to practice vocabulary words for next lesson. Each beginning of lesson I'm asking students what they had trouble with and what are there questions (because we always have questions when wanting to learn a new language).
The goal is to have fun while slowly but surely improve your skills in another language.

My teaching techniques are :
Always set a short-term language learning goal and stick to it (goal based on the method S.M.A.R.T that i will help on determine)
Using frequency lists for language learning
Speak a lot together by having a lot of discussions (if you already have a base)
Dividing language learning materials into small pieces (ex: Ten short stories of 150 words each to increase memory learning)
Depending on the level :
Start with alphabet and numbers.
Introduce simple vocabulary.
Go over spelling.
Talk about the weekend.
Discussions on situations : going to the restaurant asking for the bill, practicing veggies and fruits, asking for directions etc.
Read together online to improve prononciation.
I'll give you texts to learn and ask you questions about it to test and improve your comprehension.
If you already have a good level, we will concentrate the lesson on talking and practicing orally the language!
