About Yenusha
Hello, my name is Yenusha and I am an experienced and passionate tutor with over 30 years of teaching experience in secondary and higher education. I hold an MBA, an MCom, a Higher Diploma in Education, and a TEFL certificate, and I have worked as a lecturer, academic coordinator, campus head, and head of school. I teach English, business studies, management, economics, accounting, and study skills, and I really enjoy helping students improve their language skills, understand their subjects, and grow in confidence. Whether you are preparing for exams, learning English, studying at university, or returning to learning as an adult, my goal is to make each lesson friendly, supportive, and focused on helping you succeed.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology
I believe learning should be clear, practical, and enjoyable. My lessons are well-structured but flexible, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s level, pace, and learning goals. I focus on explaining concepts in a simple way, using real-life examples, guided practice, and regular feedback so that students feel confident and supported throughout their learning journey.
Typical Length of a Lesson
My typical lesson duration is between 45 and 60 minutes, structured as follows:
5–10 minutes: introduction and review of prior learning
30–40 minutes: core teaching and guided practice
10–15 minutes: consolidation, questions, and application
This format allows for effective pacing, engagement, and reinforcement of learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor
I have over 20 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership across secondary and higher education. I hold an MBA, an MCom, and a Higher Diploma in Education, and I have worked as a lecturer, academic coordinator, campus head, and head of school. Alongside teaching, I’ve spent many years supporting students with study skills, exam preparation, and academic confidence.
I work with senior secondary school students, university and foundation-level students, and adult and professional learners. My main areas are business, management, economics, accounting, and study skills, and I enjoy working with learners from 16 years to adult level, including international and online students.
My goal is simple and that is to help students understand their subject clearly, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
