About Luis
I am originally from Merida in the Yucatan Peninsula, and have been a guide for more than 15 years. I love to work in collaboration with the communities of the Mayan villages of the Yucatán. I am involved in many different social and cultural projects. I have a degree in anthropology, a naturalist guide diploma, and a training as a beekeeper! I would be delighted to share my passions with you, in Spanish of course!

My teaching method is based on conversational exchange. The key to mastering a language is to practice it frequently in the spoken word. I obviously adapt to different levels, and will cover more or less complex subjects, depending on what is important to you.
