About Narinder
Hello! I have over 22 years' experience of teaching 11-18 year old students in state schools and I have been a busy tutor for 8 years. This includes all 3 sciences at KS3 and GCSE and Chemistry at A-level. I am a GCSE Chemistry examiner with 2 popular boards, and provide exam strategies through plenty of practice questions.
Science is compulsory for most students and it can provide valuable transferable skills, even if you drop it straight after GCSE! Communication, observation, inference, predictions, analysis, problem solving and numeracy are just some of these. You may need support for a short time or for the whole course; one-to-one sessions can help to convert weaknesses to strengths. Whether you're scared of science or you love it, I am here to help. I am very familiar with the main exam board specifications, and I have successfully taught a range of abilities. I cover theory paired with plenty of exam question practice. Lessons are tailored to meet student needs, to improve understanding of concepts. I prepare each lesson thoroughly, with selected activities, to engage and enthuse.
