In my eleven years of teaching English to students of all ages and levels I have found that the best way to improve a persons language skills is to use the language. I encourage speaking and making a few mistakes that I can correct. This improves the student's confidence and ability.

Although vocabulary and grammar are very necessary when learning a new language, I believe that it is also important to use the language that you are learning. In my experience, many people are too worried about making mistakes to actually speak in company. I encourage speaking and making a few mistakes that I can correct to improve self confidence.
