About Dawn
I am a 48-year-old mother of three, who left the corporate world two years ago to pursue my dream of working with children. I am currently enrolled in the final courses for my Early Childhood Education Diploma, and have been on the Dean's List for the first three levels. My natural ability to connect with children, coupled with lots of patience makes my classes a wonderful, uplifting experience for the child.

My teaching methods are based on the philosophy that we all learn in different ways. For example, some children love to read and others prefer hands-on learning. A teacher's role is to provide ways for children to learn using their own strengths, making learning enjoyable. Positive reinforcement, encouraging words and compassion during stressful times is key to a building the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
