About ETHELDREDA
I am a mature Educator with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I am registered with the South African Council of Educators. I was teaching at a school in Midrand, South Africa. As charity work I participated in Shine literacy program in which we provided free extra English lessons to Grade two learners in Borksburg. I am a family person, a mother of two and a wife. I have been presenting instruction for more than 10 years. I have experience in presenting instruction to different ages. My methods of instruction depend on the student’s learning style. I love teaching because in teaching I make a difference to many lives.I also get to know many people. I cherish that moment when I meet some graduates who were once my students. This makes me feel a sense of accomplishment.

I am a mature lady and patient educator. I find it especially important to understand the student's needs and the student’s learning style. In my English and Mathematics lessons I use Props, readers, flash cards, counters, workbooks, videos and charts. These carter for all learning styles and results in lessons that are interesting. I believe in continuous assessment. I assist in homework and preparation for examinations.
I believe in fostering creativity thereby enhancing the student's success in comprehension and essays. Understanding English is key in the understanding of Mathematics word problems. Development of language is especially important in one's success in all other languages presented in English. I encourage sharing of ideas and use of own initiatives in lessons that are tied to the end goal.
