I have done voluntary tutoring with action tutoring which is organisation that helps students around the uk who are struggling with maths and other subjects. In addition to that, I was also part of the maths society at my university which would go around the local schools trying to get more students interested in maths.
My method of teaching would be as follows: during our first lesson, we will discuss the topics that you feel that you need help with, this will mean that I can structure the lessons around the topics that you really need help with. When teaching maths, I also like to focus on explaining to students on how a specific maths concept works and why it works as oppose to just telling you the method.
