About Plato

I have 2.5 years of experience tutoring children, teenagers, and young adults aged 6 to 20. I specialize in preparing students for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert exams, helping them work towards top results, including H1 at Higher Level and O1 at Ordinary Level.

I am on track to graduate next year with First-Class Honors (1:1) in Robotics Engineering from SETU Carlow. Last semester, I achieved 94% in Engineering Mathematics, reflecting my strong understanding of and genuine enthusiasm for math. Additionally, I have worked as an engineer in the field and contributed to an engineering project for a PepsiCo plant.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. During the first few lessons, I identify their strengths and the topics that require additional support, allowing us to create a clear and effective learning plan. Every lesson is interactive and designed to keep students engaged, make difficult concepts easier to understand, and ensure that new knowledge is retained.

I believe tutoring is not simply about presenting information—it is about making maths engaging, developing genuine understanding, and helping students build lasting confidence.
