About Maya
I am currently studying Economics, Finance, and Management at LSE, having graduated from secondary school with top academic results, including a full score in Mathematics. For as long as I can remember, maths has been much more than just a school subject to me: I see it as a logical game, an intellectual challenge that I genuinely enjoy tackling. What I love most about maths is the moment when everything clicks, when ideas fit together like pieces of a puzzle. That sense of clarity and satisfaction is exactly what I aim to pass on to my students.
In terms of personality, I am often described as patient, supportive, and approachable. I adapt easily to each student’s needs, whether that means revisiting core concepts or pushing further to deepen understanding. I take the time to explain ideas clearly and simply, always in a positive and non-judgemental way. I strongly believe that anyone can succeed in maths with the right explanations, a solid method, and most importantly confidence in themselves.

Every student is different, so I take the time to adapt to you: your difficulties, your pace, your level, and the way you learn best. My goal is to help you truly understand what you are doing, build confidence, and discover that success in maths can actually be enjoyable. I can support you in revising core concepts if you are struggling, better understanding your lessons, completing homework, preparing effectively for tests and exams, and developing strong study skills such as organising your work, creating revision notes, and managing your time.
How do lessons work?
I offer online lessons (or in-person depending on location), designed to be interactive and engaging. We work together on key topics, practise with exercises, and I explain concepts using clear language and concrete examples. I always make sure you fully understand before moving on. With structured guidance and personalised support, you can quickly gain stronger mathematical understanding, effective methods for improvement, and the confidence needed to achieve excellent results.
