About Gethin Twm
I am currently an undergraduate student of Computer Science and I have always had a passion for maths. I completed my International Baccalaureate having taken the theory-based course titled Mathematics: Analysis and approaches, for which I won various awards. Computer Science is a course that is heavily based on both theoretical and applied mathematics, something that I translate directly into my lessons.

Having been in the position of needing to sit down and revise for exams, or simply keep on top of course work throughout term time, I truly understand the need for a patient and versatile teacher. My approach to tutoring has always been to connect different aspects of mathematics together simultaneously in a simple, yet intriguing way. I have found that this is the most effective way of helping students gain a concrete understanding of the content rather than simply comprehending it on a short term basis.
I am open to tutoring all age groups, ranging from young beginners to A-Level students. I have experience teaching both beginner and higher level mathematics including integral and differential calculus, vectors, kinematics, etc. The length of my lessons can vary depending on the needs of the students, but in my experience they last approximately an hour.
