Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I am very passionate about Mathematics and Education. I have studied Math's up to degree level and hold a PGCE in Mathematics. I initially went into teaching to support and inspire students to achieve the best they can, this is a belief I still hold strongly with me today. Tutoring allows me to spend the time to really support and focus on each individual student.
With over 9 years of tutoring and teaching experience, I have experience tutoring a wide range of learners from primary school age up to adult learners across multiple exam boards and specifications. I hold a PGCE in Mathematics 11-18 and have experience teaching in primary, secondary and sixth form including Grammar and Comprehensive schools.

Every student is different and has their own style of learning. I believe it is best to embrace this to develop a students understanding of each topic. I work with the student to focus on the areas they find most challenging. Especially with older students, exam preparation is essential, I spend time supporting the student to develop their exam technique to help them achieve their potential. For primary school students there is more focus on building their foundations to get them set up for their ongoing learning of Mathematics. I am very motivated to encourage students to develop their confidence in their Math's ability as I believe this is such an important part of succeed and enjoy Math's.
