About Emma
I am new to tutoring but I've helped many fellow students who really appreciated my teaching style. I received A's in Mathematics every year of high school (including straight A's throughout year 12 for both assignments and exams) and love sharing my knowledge with others.

I make sure every lesson is tailored to each student's learning style. I know all the content in the SACE Stage 1 and 2 Mathematical Methods curriculum and have a general knowledge of most other mathematics topics. My main method of teaching to ensure a complete understanding of a topic is to go beyond the basic definitions of an idea and show the student how a concept fits into the bigger picture. As a very recent student myself, I base my teaching style upon personal experience, drawing upon the techniques that worked well for me in my years of learning. I will listen to the student and plan the lesson structures to be extremely flexible, depending on what works for them.

Emma is a great teacher. I completed year 12 with her last year and I wouldn't have made it through maths lessons without her. Whenever I was stuck on a hard question she was able to patiently help me work through the problem with a lot of success.
