About Zephyr

My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how abstract ideas can explain real structures with precision and beauty. I earned a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences and later completed an M.Sc. in Computational Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both theoretical reasoning and practical application. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students through challenges with patience and clarity.

I believe math should feel structured, supportive, and achievable for every learner. My teaching style focuses on breaking concepts into manageable steps, using visual explanation, real-world examples, and guided reasoning practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop confidence through understanding rather than memorization.

Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with mathematics through problem-solving exploration, reading applied research, and interest in computational modeling. Teaching math is rewarding because students often transform from frustration into confidence. Supporting learners as they unlock their logical potential is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes far more approachable when students build understanding through reasoning instead of fear. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus basics, and structured problem solving with calm and supportive explanation. I focus on helping students see patterns and develop confidence step by step, so maths feels logical rather than stressful. Each session encourages curiosity and steady improvement.

Lessons are tailored carefully to each student’s level. Beginners work on number sense, foundational algebra, and basic geometry concepts with guided practice. Intermediate learners strengthen skills in functions, equations, graph interpretation, and multi-step reasoning through structured exercises. Advanced students focus on calculus methods, proofs, exam-level applications, and deeper conceptual understanding with detailed feedback. Every lesson includes practice tasks, correction support, and confidence building.

Maths lessons also help students develop resilience and clearer thinking. Many learners become proud when they realize they can solve problems that once felt impossible. My goal is to help students feel capable, motivated, and strong in their mathematical ability.
