About Alex
Hey, I’m Alex! I’m currently studying Strategic Fashion Management at university, but maths has always been a big strength of mine, mostly because I loved my teachers! I know maths can feel really frustrating sometimes, especially when it just doesn’t seem to click. That’s why I keep my lessons calm, supportive, and pressure-free. I explain things step by step and in a way that actually makes sense; no confusing words or rushing through topics. If you’ve ever thought “I’m just not a maths person,” I’m here to help change that. Together, we’ll work at your pace and build up your confidence so it doesn’t feel so scary anymore.

I aim to make maths feel less overwhelming by breaking down topics into simple, clear steps. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, using examples and practice to help the ideas stick. Lessons are usually 45 to 60 minutes, depending on what works best for the student. I've previously run Mathematics Club for younger students while I was in Sixth Form and now help those between the ages of 7 and 14, to ensure they are confident in the subject, both in class and at home.
