About Catarina
Hi, I’m Catarina, a Business Management student in the UK studying on a scholarship. I have always enjoyed maths and finished school with a 19/20 grade in the subject. I’m patient, friendly, and passionate about helping younger students gain confidence and improve their maths skills. I enjoy explaining concepts in a simple and clear way so students can understand and feel more comfortable with maths. My goal is to help students see that maths can be interesting and not just difficult or boring.

Hi, I’m Catarina, a university student studying Business Management in the UK on a scholarship. I finished school with a 19/20 grade in Maths, and I enjoy helping younger students build confidence in the subject.
My lessons are for primary school students and pupils up to Year 7 who want support with maths, homework, or strengthening their understanding of key topics.
I believe maths is often seen as boring or difficult, but my goal is to change that idea. Maths can actually be interesting, challenging, and rewarding when it is explained in the right way. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and interactive practice so students feel more confident and engaged.
I adapt each session to the student’s level and pace. My aim is to help students enjoy learning maths while building strong foundations for the future.
