About Aaron
I am a computer science graduate with a background in mathematics, and I understand how much of an impact a teacher can have on both a student’s enjoyment of a subject and their academic performance.
Personally, I experienced how discouraging a poor teaching experience can be, even in subjects I now genuinely enjoy. Because of that, I want to help students build both confidence and understanding in a supportive environment.
Having benefited from tutoring myself, I understand the value of clear explanations and encouragement.
Whether a student simply wants to pass the subject or is aiming for the highest grades possible, I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual goals, learning style, and pace.

In the first session, I assess the student’s current level, confidence, and problem areas using targeted questions and exam-style practice. This helps identify gaps in knowledge and the topics limiting progress.
After that, lessons follow a clear structure:
reviewing difficult topics step-by-step
practising exam questions
improving problem-solving methods
developing exam technique and time management
I adapt lessons depending on the student’s goals, whether they are aiming to achieve a pass, improve consistency, or work towards the highest grades.
Teaching is paced to the individual student, with an emphasis on building confidence alongside long-term understanding.
