My daughter was struggling a lot with maths (teacher issue) in 4th year and got a C in her Nat 5s. We booked a 10 session block with Garrie and he was excellent. Always on time for sessions, professional and very structured in his approach. I have no doubt that techniques Garrie taught my daughter would have carried over into other subjects. Today she received AAAAB in her highers. A in maths in a year when there was outrage about the difficulty of the exam! Garrie doesn’t spoon feed how to pass exams, he teaches technique and problem solving.

As Garrie's wife, I’ve known him for many years and we studied at university together. This is where I saw him start to develop his passion for teaching - in between his own studying, he would spend time helping his fellow students when they were stuck, including me.
