About Isabelle
Hi! My name is Izzy and I am a psychology university student at York aiming to get into tutoring. I loved both maths and psychology in school, and would love to inspire other students to love it just as much.
I am a friendly person, and am happy to take lessons one step at a time to ensure you will get something out of every session.

I am new to tutoring but eager to learn! My aim is to have my lessons be fun, friendly and supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs, and will aim to make learning easy by breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. Lessons will typically last 1 hour.
As a grade 9 maths GCSE student (and also an 8 in Further Maths) I have extensive knowledge of maths exams in these areas, and can confidently teach maths to GCSE level, and will focus on practising exam-style questions and explaining difficult concepts in an easy way.
I currently do psychology at university level, and can aid students doing the A level AQA psychology course, and help students understand key concepts and theories, as well as tackle research methods, and also provide helpful exam tips!
As both me and my sister are grammar school students, I can also confidently prepare students for the 11+ entrance exam.
