About Jordan

ABOUT
I am a recent Mathematics graduate from the University of Bath currently taking a gap year before beginning a Master's conversion course in Psychological Sciences next year. I am really passionate about learning and education and am keen to pass my knowledge down to others.

MATHS
I completed my maths A level two years early independently alongside my GCSEs. I also have A-Levels in Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Recently, I obtained my BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bath. Consequently, I am adept to teach maths to a wide range of levels.

ENGLISH AND SCIENCE
Additionally, I have recent work experience in a primary school and experience teaching English and Science to lower levels.

HOBBIES/ INTERESTS
Aside from maths, I also really enjoy baking and cake decorating. During university, I started a baking blog to share my creations. I also enjoy exercise and finding new activities to improve my own well-being.

About the lesson

SUBJECTS TAUGHT
I teach all ages, from primary school to adult education:
- KS1/2 English, Maths, Science.
- KS3 Maths, Science.
- GCSE Maths, Additional Maths, Statistics.
- A-Level Maths, Further Maths

QUALIFICATIONS
I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath. I also have four A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE
I started tutoring in 2017 when I was completing my A-Levels as I really enjoyed helping my friends out with maths. Since then, I have completed over 500 hours of tutoring of various levels, from KS2 to adult education. I also have recent experience working as a classroom assistant in a reception class.

TEACHING STYLE
I like to create PowerPoints filled with examples and exam questions, tailored to topics of the student's choice. I also like to create personalised learning checklists and plans to ensure everything is covered in a timely manner. I follow up after every lesson with links to lesson resources, answers to any outstanding lessons, and a brief overview of what we covered, and what we will cover next time. Typically, lessons are 1hr long but we can discuss your individual needs.
