About James
I have been a private tutor since April 2018 tutoring both individual and group classes of up to 4 students. I have assisted multiple A Level and GCSE students throughout their studies. In terms of subjects, I specialise in Mathematics and Physics and am also qualified to tutor Further Mathematics. Please note that I am able to tutor students of ALL of these subjects in GCSE, AS and A2 Level.

It is essential that every student has confidence in their tutor. All of my previous students are reassured by the fact that I achieved A* grades in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-Level as well as an A in Physics A-Level. As with all my students, I begin with assessing their current position by asking them exactly what topics they wish to go through. I am then able to create a plan in which I can go through the content at a pace that suits them, providing additional materials such as booklets with detailed explanations and examples. As with all qualifications, it is important to rigorously understand the structure of the examinations therefore I conclude every topic by going through actual questions from previous examinations. From personal experience and feedback from multiple students, I believe this is the best method of tutoring for these demanding subjects.

James has a very detailed knowledge of the papers from previous years. When working through topics he could tell me exactly what questions come up every year and exactly what I need to know. He is also fantastic at explaining and simplifying the really tough topics.
Always comes prepared with plenty of resources. Vast amounts of patience and always makes understanding difficult concepts easy. James was also kind enough to assist me with my UCAS application and provided lots of helpful advice. A fantastic tutor!
