About Mady
I’m a Cambridge Medicine student who achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I have several years of tutoring experience, including supporting students with EAL and SEN needs.
I can teach Maths and Further Maths from KS3 and GCSE through to A Level, adapting lessons to each student’s ability and goals. I’m patient, approachable and focused on making difficult topics easier to understand. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, improve your exam technique or aim for the highest grades, I’ll tailor lessons to what works best for you. I am also DBS checked.

Each lesson is structured but flexible, allowing me to adapt the session to your needs and progress.
- Review & check-in - We’ll start by reviewing homework, previous topics and any questions or difficulties you’ve encountered.
- Teaching & explanation - I’ll introduce or revisit the topic, breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps. We can follow your school's curriculum, learn ahead, or review difficult topics - depending on what you prefer
-️ Guided practice - We’ll work through questions together, focusing on understanding the method and developing problem-solving skills.
- Independent practice - You’ll then tackle similar questions independently while I provide guidance and feedback where needed and mark your homework at the same time.
- Exam technique & homework - We’ll finish by addressing exam technique and setting targeted questions or homework to reinforce what you’ve learnt.
Lessons can be adapted depending on your goals, whether you’re building foundations, preparing for exams or aiming for the highest grades.
