About Jay
My name's Jay I am currently studying at university. I want to teach because I genuinely love seeing students grow in confidence and understanding. There’s something incredible about witnessing that ‘lightbulb moment’ when a child finally grasps a tricky concept. I believe every student has unique potential, and I’m passionate about helping them unlock it. Teaching isn’t just about grades; it’s about inspiring a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

My teaching approach is all about making learning fun, relatable, and personal. I take time to understand each student's interests, strengths, and challenges. For example, if they love football, I’ll use it to explain maths. If they’re creative, we’ll turn writing into storytelling. I believe in patience, encouragement, and celebrating every achievement—no matter how small. My goal is to make them confident, curious learners.
