About Clara
Mathematics tutor with 10 years of experience teaching college students. My teaching approach for Mathematics is built on logical rigour and proof-based reasoning. I connect abstract algebra to number theory and cryptography, so you see the applications. We break down real analysis into epsilon-delta arguments, group theory into symmetry structures, and complex analysis into elegant contour integrals. I encourage you to construct proofs and find counterexamples. Motivation comes from solving olympiad-style problems and discussing open questions. I give honest feedback and adapt to your learning style. For Mathematics, we cover sequences, series, continuity, differentiation, integration, groups, rings, fields, analytic functions, residues, and conformal mappings. I also teach related topics like set theory, mathematical logic, and topology basics. I use case studies from pure math and my own students' successes. Sessions include proof writing, problem solving, and exploring abstract structures. I assign homework like proving a theorem or solving 5 advanced problems. I keep notes to track your progress. I also provide historical context to make topics interesting. For analysis, I use graphical interpretations of epsilon-delta definitions. For algebra, I use symmetry examples from geometry. For complex analysis, I show applications in physics and engineering. I conduct weekly proof-writing workshops and provide feedback on clarity and rigour. My goal is to make you a rigorous and creative mathematician.
