About Ayla
My interest in mathematics began in early schooling, where I found joy in solving puzzles, recognizing patterns, and applying logical reasoning to problems. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on clarity, patience, and structured learning. I aim to help students develop confidence in their abilities while fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject.
I tailor lessons to each student’s level and learning style. Beginners build foundational skills through guided exercises and simple examples. Intermediate learners expand problem-solving skills, explore algebraic structures, and develop functional reasoning. Advanced students tackle calculus, complex functions, and higher-order problem-solving challenges. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent exploration in every session.
Outside teaching, I engage with mathematical puzzles, research, and applied problem-solving projects, incorporating these insights to make lessons relevant and stimulating. Observing students progress from uncertainty to confidence, developing both analytical skills and enjoyment of the subject, is immensely rewarding. My aim is to cultivate not only academically capable students but also independent thinkers who approach mathematical challenges with clarity, curiosity, and resilience, carrying these skills into academics and life.
