About Miles

My interest in mathematics began when I noticed how numbers and patterns appear in many everyday situations. I became fascinated with how mathematical logic could explain relationships between quantities and help solve complex problems. This curiosity led me to pursue formal studies in the subject and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.

During my 8 years of teaching, I have worked with many students who needed support in building their confidence in mathematics. My teaching approach focuses on patience and simple explanations so learners can understand concepts step by step. I believe every student can improve their mathematical ability when the ideas are explained clearly and supported with practice.

Outside teaching, I enjoy solving number puzzles and exploring interesting mathematical patterns. These activities help me stay curious and bring engaging examples into lessons. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I see students grow more confident and discover their ability to understand ideas that once seemed difficult.

About the lesson

My mathematics lessons focus on helping students develop a clear understanding of numbers and the logic behind mathematical operations. Many students feel confused about mathematics because they try to memorize formulas without understanding how they work. In my lessons we begin with important foundational topics such as number operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages. I explain these ideas carefully so students can see how different rules connect and support one another.

As learners gain confidence with the basics, we gradually move into algebra, equations, and structured problem solving. I guide students through examples that show how mathematical problems can be solved step by step. Practice exercises are included in every lesson so students can apply what they learn and strengthen their calculation skills. When mistakes happen, we review them calmly to understand the reasoning and improve the approach.

My goal is to help students feel comfortable with mathematics and develop patience while solving problems. Lessons focus on building logical thinking and clear reasoning. Over time learners begin to approach mathematics with greater confidence and independence, discovering that mathematical thinking can be both useful and rewarding.
