About Ella

My interest in mathematics started at an early stage of my education when I became fascinated by patterns, numbers, and logical reasoning. I enjoyed solving challenging problems and understanding how mathematical formulas could explain relationships in science, engineering, and everyday life. This passion motivated me to pursue higher education in mathematics and eventually complete a Master’s degree in the subject.

Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds who had varying levels of confidence in mathematics. Some students initially struggled with the subject because they found certain concepts confusing or difficult to apply. Through patient explanations and structured problem-solving practice, I help students gradually improve their understanding and develop confidence in their abilities.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles, reading about scientific applications of mathematics, and staying updated with new teaching methods that make learning more effective. Helping students overcome their fear of mathematics and develop strong analytical skills is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

About the lesson

Mathematics is a subject that builds logical thinking and problem-solving abilities that are useful in many areas of life and study. My mathematics lessons focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. Topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic calculus are taught in a clear and structured way that helps students gradually build confidence.

Lessons typically begin with understanding fundamental mathematical ideas and principles. Students learn how numbers behave, how equations represent relationships between quantities, and how mathematical rules can be applied to solve different types of problems. As students progress, they begin solving more complex equations, working with graphs, and understanding geometric relationships.

To strengthen problem-solving skills, students practice different types of questions that encourage logical reasoning and analytical thinking. I also demonstrate multiple ways to approach mathematical problems so students can understand the concepts from different perspectives. With consistent practice and clear explanations, students begin to see mathematics as a structured system of logical ideas rather than a difficult or confusing subject.
