About Alyssa
I am a mathematics tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences. My interest in mathematics developed through solving logical puzzles and exploring how numbers explain patterns in everyday life.
I enjoy creating lessons that are supportive, organized, and easy to follow. My teaching approach encourages understanding through discussion, guided practice, and continuous encouragement so students become more confident with every lesson.

My mathematics lessons are created to make every topic easier to understand through logical explanations and regular practice. We begin with arithmetic, algebra, fractions, decimals, geometry, and percentages before progressing toward higher-level mathematics. Every lesson includes visual methods, practical examples, and guided exercises that help students understand concepts instead of memorizing formulas. Learners are encouraged to ask questions freely and develop confidence through consistent improvement.
As students advance, we work on trigonometry, probability, statistics, coordinate geometry, functions, equations, and mathematical reasoning. Lessons include graph interpretation, mental mathematics, revision activities, and practical applications that strengthen both speed and accuracy. Individual learning plans ensure every student develops confidence while progressing at a comfortable pace.
My aim is to help students see mathematics as an enjoyable subject that develops valuable thinking skills. Every lesson builds confidence, problem-solving ability, and logical reasoning while encouraging independent learning.
