About Emi

My interest in mathematics began when I noticed how numbers follow patterns that can explain many real-world relationships. I enjoyed exploring how mathematical reasoning could be used to solve complex problems in a clear and organized way. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue formal study in the subject and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, where I studied algebra, calculus, and statistical methods.

During my 7 years of teaching, I have worked with students who had different experiences with mathematics. Some learners wanted to strengthen their basic understanding, while others aimed to improve their ability to solve advanced problems. My teaching style focuses on simple explanations and steady practice so students can develop confidence step by step.

Outside teaching, I enjoy solving mathematical puzzles and reading about applications of mathematics in science and technology. These activities help me stay engaged with the subject and bring interesting examples into my lessons. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I see students gradually build confidence and discover their ability to understand complex ideas.

About the lesson

My mathematics lessons focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind numbers, formulas, and calculations. Many learners struggle with mathematics because they attempt to memorize steps without understanding the logic behind them. In my lessons we begin with important foundations such as number operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages. These early concepts help students build a strong understanding of how numbers behave and how calculations work.

Once students feel comfortable with these basics, lessons move toward algebra, equations, and geometry concepts. I guide learners through step-by-step examples that demonstrate how mathematical problems can be solved using logical reasoning. Students practice solving different types of questions so they can strengthen their accuracy and become more confident when approaching new problems.

My goal is to help students feel calm and confident while learning mathematics. Lessons emphasize understanding patterns, organizing information clearly, and developing patience when solving problems. Over time learners begin to recognize connections between different mathematical ideas and develop stronger analytical thinking skills that support success in many academic subjects.
