About Joshua
My name is Josh and I am a third year Maths with Economics student at Loughborough University. I have had a clear and genuine passion for maths since the start of my education, and find it extremely satisfying when a certain topic clicks or I complete a tough question. I have been tutoring since I joined university in Mathematics, and can tutor up to A-Level Maths. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, specifically football, basketball and running, as well as spending time with my friends out and about!

I have had experience with tutoring up to groups of 3, and have tutored a variety of ages and abilities across the GCSE to A-Level range. As such I am aware that each student needs a unique and tailored tutoring experience, whether that be focusing on the most difficult topics, going over the fundamentals or simply boosting enjoyment and confidence. My lessons are typically an hour long and take place over Microsoft Teams, where I make use of the whiteboard tool to make learning interactive. Once I have established what each student is looking to get out of my lessons, I try to make each session dynamic and new to ease the learning process!
