About Sienna
My journey in mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logic, and the elegant way complex problems can be broken into simple steps. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I explored abstract reasoning alongside practical problem-solving frameworks. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported students from diverse backgrounds, helping them transform confusion into clarity through structured explanation and steady encouragement.
I believe that strong mathematics teaching requires empathy and adaptability. I take time to understand how each student thinks, where they struggle, and what builds their confidence. Whether using diagrams, analogies, or real-world examples, I aim to make mathematics approachable and meaningful.
Beyond teaching, I continue engaging with mathematics through independent study, problem exploration, and application-based learning. Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling because it empowers learners with confidence, logical discipline, and the ability to think clearly in any situation.
